An elderly man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash in Mississauga Friday afternoon.
Peel police say the man was injured after his vehicle slammed into a tree at the intersection of Erin Mills Parkway and Folkway Drive.
The man was without vital signs at the scene, police say. He is now listed as being in stable condition.
The intersection was closed for several hours as police investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash.
It was reopened shortly before 8 p.m.
