Toronto Fashion Week got off to a slippery start Monday when a line of models took a spill while showing off some of the latest designs.

The mishap took place during a show by designer Mikhael Kale at David Pecaut Square Monday.

A lineup of models sporting different designs were lined up on the catwalk. As each model approached a certain spot at the end of the runway, they slipped.

Some merely lost their footing while others wiped out, dropping clear out of the camera’s view.

The clip of the models crashing one by one was quickly shared on social media, with some speculating that something may have spilled on the runway.

It’s not clear where the liquid came from, though rain had been falling on the tent roof on and off throughout the day.

The models’ footwear may also have been a factor, with many sporting clear plastic leggings that extended over the feet.

No serious injuries were reported from the event. Attendees reported seeing the stage wiped down thoroughly before the next show.

Toronto Fashion Week runs through March 18.
