TORONTO -- Musicians across Canada will be watching closely as Juno Award nominations are announced this morning.
The slate of nominees for the March 30 show will be unveiled at a news conference in Toronto.
Canadian musicians who released albums between Sept. 1, 2012 and Nov. 13, 2013 will be eligible for nominations.
That group includes "Blurred Lines" singer Robin Thicke, who holds Canadian citizenship by virtue of his actor father Alan, as well as Toronto rapper Drake, who had five nominations at the recent Grammy Awards.
The Junos will be held at Winnipeg's MTS Centre, with a host yet to be announced.
Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida will receive the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award, while classic rock outfit Bachman-Turner Overdrive will be ushered into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
