PITTSBURGH - Viewers of a new reality TV show will soon find out what happens when two fledgling directors are given $850,000 to direct their own movies from the same script.

"The Chair" is shot in Pittsburgh and documents the making of both movies. The 10-week series will debut Sept. 6 on the cable network Starz.

One movie is called "Not Cool," directed by YouTube moviemaker Shane Dawson. The other is "Hollidaysburg," directed by actress and screenwriter Anna Martemucci. The films will be released shortly after the weekly one-hour series begins.

Both movies were based on a script by Dan Schoffer called "How Soon is Now." They're coming-of-age stories about friends who return home to western Pennsylvania during their first Thanksgiving holiday break in college.
