Rocker Steve Miller has some choice words for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The 72-year-old singer was inducted into the rock hall Friday night. After performing hits like "Fly Like an Eagle," Miller ripped into organizers in a backstage interview. He said they don't know how to run a concert or take care of artists. He said the whole evening was a lazy night with what he called a bunch of "fat cats."

Miller also said he almost didn't show up at all, but did so for his fans, who take the event seriously.

In response, the rock hall issued a statement saying that it was honoured to induct Miller, and that rock and roll can ignite many opinions, which is what makes it great.
