The Office of the Fire Marshal will be investigating an early morning blaze at a GFL Environmental truck yard in Etobicoke that left multiple vehicles damaged.
Toronto Fire told CP24 that a passerby called emergency crews at around 2:30 a.m. to report a fire at 5 Brydon Drive, located near Kipling Avenue and Rexdale Boulevard.
Natural gas-powered garbage trucks were parked in the yard at the solid waste management facility and at the height of the fire, three trucks caught fire.
No injuries were reported and the fire is now out, officials confirmed.
Police said it is too early to tell if the fire is suspicious but said the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) will be probing the circumstances surrounding the blaze.
