Toronto police have arrested a 42-year-old man in connection with two sexual assaults which occurred in the city’s east end Monday.
Police allege that a man riding a bicycle assaulted a 27-year-old woman in the Sheppard Avenue East and Washburn Way area.
Three hours later, police allege the same man assaulted a 17-year-old girl.
In both instances, the man fled the scene on his bicycle following the assaults.
A suspect was arrested by police a short time later.
Andrew Johnson, 42, of no fixed address, is charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of failing to comply with his probation.
He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.
Police believe there may be more victims.
