Toronto police have charged a 68-year-old man in connection with a child pornography investigation.
Police say the suspect was arrested in the Queensway and Kipling Avenue area on Thursday.
Police allege he was in possession of child pornography at the time of his arrest.
During a subsequent search of the suspect’s home, police allege they discovered numerous photos of children taken in parks and along riverbanks in the Toronto area between the 1960s and 1980s.
Police say in some of the photos, the children were not aware they were being photographed.
Richard “Rick” Westner, of Toronto, is charged with possession of child pornography.
He appeared in court Friday morning.
Police believe there may be more victims.
