PARRY SOUND, Ont. - Minor hockey officials are not commenting, for now, after investigating allegations of underage drinking and hazing at a team party in Parry Sound, Ont.

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association looked into allegations of drinking and humiliating acts involving rookies of the Parry Sound Major Midgets and females who were at the party last month.

Players are between 16 and 18 years old.

A parent whose daughter was at the party contacted the OMHA, and a local resident claims to have documentation of the incidents.

Parry Sound Minor Hockey executive members held an emergency meeting Tuesday night but would not comment.

OMHA executive director Richard Ropchan said the report from the investigation and any sanctions that result will be released in the next couple of days.
