NEW YORK -- "Furious 7" had enough left in the tank to top "The Age of Adaline" and lead the box office for a fourth straight week.

The Universal action film made an estimated $18.3 million in North American theatres over the weekend, according to studio estimates Sunday. The film has had little competition to challenge its juggernaut status throughout April.

The Blake Lively fantasy romance "The Age of Adaline" was the only new wide release of the weekend, and it came in third with $13.4 million. The Sony comedy "Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2" held up stronger than expected to earn $15.5 million in its second week of release.

Russell Crowe's directorial debut "The Water Diviner" opened in limited release, making $1.3 million in 320 locations.
