HAMILTON, Ont. - A man is facing child pornography charges following an investigation by Hamilton police.

Police say officers were called to a home in May to check on the well-being of a "male party" and as a result of the call, became suspicious about communications between the male and another male in the United States.

Hamilton police, including members of the Internet Child Exploitation Unit, began working with U.S. investigators to determine the contents of the communication.

A 41-year-old Brantford man was arrested Thursday and charged with making child pornography.

Police say the man's name is being withheld as it could identify the alleged victim.
