One person is dead following a head-on collision southwest of Brantford late Tuesday afternoon.
It happened on Brantford Road, near Burford-Delhi Townline Road, shortly before 6 p.m.
According to police, a northbound transport truck and a southbound car collided after the car crossed into an oncoming lane.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Details on the deceased’s age and gender were not immediately provided by police.
The driver of the truck was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Brantford Road remains closed as police continue to investigate.
