A Sheridan College department head is one of two men charged with a number of sexual assaults that police say took place during the last 30 years.

Toronto police allege the two men, both together and individually, sexually assaulted males between 11 and 30 years of age.The allegations have not been proven in court.

Suspect James Brian Wickens, 68, has been charged with four counts of indecent assault on a male and two counts of gross indecency.

A second suspect David Ralph Cole, 77, has been charged with three counts of indecent assault on a male and five counts of gross indecency.

Both men are Toronto residents, but also Mexican citizens who spend winters near Puerto Vallarta, police said. Cole was a department head at Sheridan College in Oakville in the 1980s.

The two suspects have a court appearance scheduled for Friday, Oct. 17, 2014.
