A former Toronto pastor is facing several charges after police say two female members of his congregation were allegedly sexually assaulted.

According to investigators, between 2006 and 2011, a 64-year-old pastor, who was working at an Evangelical Christian Congregation in the City of Toronto, allegedly sexually assaulted a 47-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl, who were both parishioners at the church.

On Monday, police say Jose Colindres, of Toronto, was charged in connection with the investigation.

He is facing five counts of sexual assault, three counts of sexual interference and three counts of sexual exploitation.

He appeared in court on Aug. 16 at Old City Hall.

Police say they are concerned there may be other victims and ask anyone with information to call 416-808-1400 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
