A missing man who was believed to have been stabbed on a subway train Friday has been found safe.

Safdhar Rahim, 63, was located in good health early Saturday morning, police said.

On Friday, police issued a plea to the public for help finding the man, who they said had gone missing following an altercation aboard a subway in which he might have been stabbed.

On Friday police released an image of the man and said he was last seen in the area of Ossington Station around 1:14 a.m.

Shortly after 6 a.m. on Saturday, police announced on Twitter that Rahim had been found.

Police did not say where he was found or where he had been over the past day or so.
