A suspect wanted in connection with a homicide last year remains at large after police scoured an area around Danforth and Coxwell avenues overnight .
A Canada-wide warrant was issued for Conrad Grizzle, 22, last year after 20-year-old Douglas Parker was gunned down outside 66 Walpole Avenue, near Greenwood Avenue and Gerrard Street, while he and his friends were exiting a cab on the night of May 24.
Parker was pronounced dead at the scene.
Grizzle is wanted for one count of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.
Police previously attempted to bring Grizzle into custody in June 2014 however officers were not successful, homicide Det. Joyce Schertzer told reporters at the time.
On Sunday night, police said a firearm had been located by the service's K9 unit. Police set up a perimeter as they searched the area overnight, however they were unable to locate Grizzle and the permieter was taken down early Monday.
Anyone who spots Grizzle is asked not to approach him but to immediately call 9-1-1.
