Police have released surveillance camera images of a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing near city hall last month.

According to police, a man was in the Bay and Albert streets area at around 5:30 p.m. on June 11 when he became involved in an altercation with another man, who then produced a knife and stabbed him.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as black, about five-foot-ten with a heavy build, short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with a white design, black pants and prescription glasses.
