Toronto police are looking for help identifying a suspect they say attempted to rob the same west-end optical store on two separate occasions.

On July 15, 2014, police say a man was able to break into the store, located near Dundas Street West and Huron Street, by smashing the front-door window pane and breaking the lock with bolt cutters. The suspect made off with $30,000 worth of merchandise, according to police.

A little over a month later, the suspect attempted to break into the same optical store again. Police say he smashed the window with bolt cutters but was unable to get inside.

Police have released an image of the suspect taken from security camera footage.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-5200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
