Police have released video surveillance images of a man wanted in connection with a violent robbery at a bank machine in Scarborough.

On July 28 at around 9:15 p.m., police say a woman and a young child were at a bank in the Midland Avenue and Sheppard Avenue East area.

The woman had finished depositing money into the machine when she was approached by two men.

Police say the man had short, grey hair and a goatee and was seen wearing a long-sleeved dress shirt and beige pants. Police have released photos of the man captured on a security camera in the area.

The second suspect is described as a brown man, who is between the ages of 20 to 30, and has a heavy build with short or shaved hair. Police say he was last seen wearing a black hat, black shirt, black pants, and was carrying a duffel bag.
