Three teenagers from the Greater Toronto Area have been charged with second-degree murder in one of two fatal stabbings that took place at Wasaga Beach over the Victoria Day long weekend.

Caledon man Francesco Molinaro, 18, was fatally stabbed outside a pizza shop on Mosley Street in the popular summer getaway town on May 21.

Few details about the circumstances of the stabbing have been released by police so far.

Ontario Provincial Police announced the arrests in a news release issued Saturday.

Jonathan Landsberg, 18, of Whitby, Eric R. Talbot, 19, of Pickering and Austin D. Zambrano-Peterson, 18, of North York have all been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the stabbing, OPP said.

All three men were scheduled to make a court appearance in Newmarket this morning.

Another Caledon man, 23-year-old Erick Tello Arias, was fatally stabbed a short distance away on May 23. A 21-year-old Wasaga Beach man has been charged with second degree murder in his death. However police have said they are treating the two stabbings as unrelated so far.
