Toronto police have arrested a man wanted in connection with a homicide in Etobicoke last November.

On Nov. 24, 2013, police were called to the North Kipling Community Centre/ North Kipling Junior Middle School, in the area of Kiping and Finch avenues, for a reported shooting.

When police arrived on scene shortly at around 8 p.m., they found a 25-year-old man, later identified as Neeko Mitchell, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mitchell was pronounced dead at the scene.

On January 23, 2014, a Canada-wide warrant was issued for Rashane Hayles-Wilson, 23, of Mississauga, and on Monday, police say they arrested the suspect.

Wilson has been charged with first-degree murder and investigators say he is being held in police custody until he appears in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Oct. 27.
