A woman is recovering from serious injuries after multiple vehicles collided in Richmond Hill Thursday afternoon.
A staff sergeant from York Regional Police’s District 4 said they were called to the intersection of Bathurst Street and Highway 7 around 4 p.m. Thursday.
Police said a woman was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with serious injuries. One other person was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Bathurst Street was closed from Highway 7 to Summeridge Drive for several hours as the collision reconstruction unit surveyed the scene.
The area reopened to traffic at about 10:30 p.m.
