TORONTO -- Jozy Altidore will sit out Toronto FC's game Wednesday against rival Montreal and there are question marks over fellow striker Sebastian Giovinco and playmaker Victor Vazquez.

Altidore and Giovinco both missed Saturday's win in Los Angeles as a precautionary measure because of lower body tightness.

Vazquez was sent to the doctor Wednesday after showing signs of a slight fever. Coach Greg Vanney said he was feeling better, however.

Vanney said Altidore, who has been experiencing hamstring tightness, will not dress Wednesday. Giovinco, who has quadricep tightness, is due to undergo an afternoon scan with a decision to be made once the results are in.

With Toronto's weekend match on artificial turf in New England, it's possible both strikers sit out the week.
