A motorcyclist is dead following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 401 at Bayview Avenue Friday night.
Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Dave Woodford said the collision between a Dodge Caravan and the motorcycle happened in the highway's westbound express lanes shortly before 8 p.m.
A 13-year-old boy travelling in the van was also injured in the collision and has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The collector to express transfer west of Leslie Street is fully blocked as a result, Woodford said.
The 35-year-old Toronto man killed in the collision has not been identified.
