Three people were arrested and a fourth is being sought after a stolen car crashed into a garden centre while fleeing police in Toronto’s west end late Wednesday night.

Police said they are looking for a man who ran away from the crash scene near Parkside Drive and Bloor Street West at about 11:15 p.m.

A second man and two women were arrested at the scene. All three were taken to hospital and two have been released from custody, said police spokesman Const. Victor Kwong.

Kwong said the car passed police at high speed and the driver refused to pull over.

The driver attempted to turn but the car was travelling too fast and crashed.
