Toronto Police have cordoned off a section of McCowan Park in Eglinton East after a man was found dead Monday morning.
Police said they received a call from a person walking through the park just before 10 a.m. Monday. The person told police they located a man, who looks to be in his 30s, lying on his back, suffering from what looked like stab wounds.
The area of the park where the man was found will likely be blocked for hours. A command post was set up and police are investigating the scene, hoping to speak with anyone who may have seen the man before his death.
