A 19-year-old Brampton man is facing several charges following a gunpoint robbery in Mississauga over the weekend.

It happened in the Airport Road and Slough Street area on Saturday.

According to Peel police, the 21-year-old victim arranged to meet a man interested in buying an electronic device he was advertising for sale online.

At the meeting, the victim was forced inside a vehicle at gunpoint where he was robbed of the device.

A suspect was arrested in connection with the incident later that day, police said in a release Tuesday night.

A loaded 9mm handgun was recovered during the arrest.

Harmen Aujla faces charges including robbery, forcible confinement, and several firearms-related offences.
