Homicide detectives continue to investigate after a man was found dead inside a parking garage in Mississauga on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers responded to a medical assistance call at the building located near Grand Park Drive and Burnhamthorpe Road at around 1:15 p.m.

“Upon arrival, it became quite obvious that there was a male victim,” Peel police Const. Paolo Carretta told CP24 Wednesday night.

“A short time after that, the incident was deemed to be a homicide.”

The victim was found with obvious signs of trauma, Carretta said. He would not disclose whether the victim was discovered inside a vehicle. Details on the nature of the victim’s injuries were also not provided.

“At this point right now we still have not confirmed the identity of the victim,” he said.

Suspect information has not been provided by police.
