A 79-year-old Beaverton man has died following a crash north of Toronto Friday night, Ontario Provincial Police have confirmed.
According to police, two minivans collided in the intersection of Highway 48 and Ravenshoe Road shortly before 7 p.m.
An 80-year-old woman, also from Beaverton, is currently in critical condition, police said, while two other people sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary reports from Ornge that the injured included children were inaccurate, police said.
