An 86-year-old man has died in hospital after police say he crashed his vehicle into the back of a TTC bus in North York on Monday night.
The accident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. at Wilson Avenue and William Cragg Drive, near Jane Street.
Police say the elderly man was heading west on Wilson Avenue in his 2006 Nissan Sentra when he rear-ended a bus that had stopped in the curb lane.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
