An elderly woman in her 70s has died of her injuries after being struck by a vehicle in North York.
The incident happened around 12:40 p.m. at Wilson Heights Boulevard and Reiner Road.
The woman was rushed to a trauma centre without vital signs after being struck, Toronto Paramedic Services said.
Several hours later Toronto police confirmed that she had died of her injuries.
The circumstances leading up to the collision were not immediately clear.
Police have closed Wilson Heights Boulevard in both directions between Sheppard Avenue West and Joel Swirsky Boulevard as they investigate the collision.
