Two men are facing first-degree murder charges and a third is being sought in the death of a 32-year-old Brampton father, Peel Regional Police announced Thursday.

The suspects were arrested Wednesday in the killing of Dwayne Alexander Thompson, who was fatally shot in a parking lot behind an apartment building in Malton on Nov. 1, 2012, police said.

After the shooting, Thompson’s car was taken and found a day later.

Officers made the arrests when they executed search warrants at residences in Brampton, Mississauga and Toronto.

Police said Brampton resident Amal Everton Greensword, 23, and Mississauga resident Adrian Jordan Williams, 19, were taken into custody.

A third suspect, 22-year-old Steven Vanroy Browne, of no fixed address, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant. Police are asking people to call their local police service if they know Browne’s whereabouts.

Investigators released a photo of Browne on Thursday, but they say it is dated. Browne has a shaved head.

Meanwhile, anyone with information about the homicide is asked to call police at 905-453-2121 ext. 3205 or Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
