A girl was rushed to a hospital trauma centre after she was pulled from a pool at a home in the Scarborough Junction area without vital signs on Tuesday evening.

Police say they were called to a private backyard pool at a home in the area of St. Clair Avenue East and Midland Avenue for a report of a person in a pool without vital signs.

Paramedics said they were called to the scene at 5:13 p.m. and she was later loaded into an ambulance and rushed via emergency run to a hospital trauma centre.
