GO Transit service officially begins today at the new Gormley GO Station in Richmond Hill.
The new station, which is located on Stouffville Road between Highway 404 and Leslie Street, offers both train and bus service to and from Union Station.
In the morning, trains will run every 30 minutes to Union Station and in the afternoon, northbound trains will run every 30 minutes to the new Richmond Hill station.
The station has 850 parking spaces, a bus loop and a fully accessible platform.
There are also heated shelters in the winter months.
