Halton Regional Police are seeking the public’s assistance in tracking down the owner of a vehicle that has been used in a rash of daytime break-and enters over the last few weeks.

Police say the suspects are believed to be targeting homes in the Milton and Halton areas that are isolated from the road and neighbouring properties.

In each of the robberies, police say the suspects checked to see if anyone was home before forcing their way into the dwelling and removing a “substantial amount of property,” including electronics, jewelry and personal effects of value.

The vehicle police are looking for information about is described as a maroon-coloured GMC Sierra pickup truck with a stolen license plate reading “714 4FA.”

Police say the truck has been spotted in the vicinity of a number of the break-and-enters in Halton Region as well as at the scene of another break-and-enter in Waterloo Region.
