HAMILTON, Ont. -- A Hamilton man is facing several charges following the alleged sexual assault of a boy in an apartment in the city.
Police say an 11-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were approached by a man in Beasley Park on Wednesday.
It's alleged the man befriended the boys and took them back to his downtown apartment where he sexually assaulted one of them.
Hamilton police were notified and investigators with the child abuse branch arrested a man on Wednesday.
Michael McLellan, 49, is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching and four counts of breach of probation.
