Toronto police are investigating after a man was found dead with an apparent gunshot wound in Rexdale early Saturday morning.
Paramedics were called to the Humber College Boulevard and Finch Avenue area at around 2:40 a.m. for a report of a man suffering from obvious signs of trauma.
Police arrived and found the man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The man has since been identified by police as Maninder Singh Sandhu, 31, of Brampton.
Forensics officers are currently on scene combing for evidence and officers are canvassing the area to try and speak with possible witnesses and to find surveillance footage from the area.
An autopsy was set to be conducted Saturday afternoon.
