Homicide detectives are investigating after two people were found dead inside a home in Brampton Wednesday afternoon.
Peel Regional Police confirm that officers were called to the residence on Beaconsfield Avenue, in the Steeles Avenue and Chinguacousy Road area, for reports of a disturbance shortly before 3 p.m.
“Homicide will be attending the scene,” police said in a tweet shortly after 4 p.m.
Details on the gender and age of the victims were not immediately provided. The circumstances surrounding the incident were also not immediately clear.
“This is an isolated incident and there is no public safety issue,” police said.
An update is expected to be provided shortly.
