York Regional Police are investigating after a human skull was found on a Highway 407 on-ramp in Vaughan Sunday afternoon.
The skull was discovered by a passerby around 3 p.m. on a Bathurst Street on-ramp to the highway. The person took a picture and sent it to police, who came to the scene with a coroner to investigate.
The coroner confirmed the skull is human.
It’s not yet clear where the remains came from or how they came to be on the road.
