Toronto police have issued a public safety alert following two recent reports involving indecent acts in the Bloor West Village area.

According to police, two 11-year-old girls were walking in the area of Windermere Avenue and Colbeck Street at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Friday.

While walking, the girls noticed a man sitting in the driver’s seat of a car wearing only a T-shirt and no pants committing an indecent act.

As the girls ran towards their home, the man followed them in his car.

The car eventually pulled a U-turn and left the area.

On Wednesday of this week, it was reported to police that the same two girls were walking near in the Runnymede Road and Colbeck Street area at around 3:30 p.m. when they noticed a man sitting in the driver’s seat of a car committing an indecent act.

The girls ran into a neighbour’s house, police said.

In both instances, the car is described as a black hatchback Mercedes.

The man is described as white, 30 to 40 years old, with brown wavy hair, and clean shaven. He was wearing a white T-shirt, and dark-framed glasses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-1100 or Crime Stoppers at 416-22-TIPS (8477).
