A judicial pre-trial hearing has been put over until April 28 in the Jian Ghomeshi sexual assault case.

Lawyers representing the former CBC Radio host, who is facing seven counts of sexual assault and one count of overcoming resistance, appeared at the College Park Courthouse on Friday for a scheduled judicial pre-trial hearing.

Ghomeshi, who did not appear in court on Friday, was initially charged with four counts of sexual assault however it was revealed last month that three more women had come forward with allegations. The only complainant who can be named is ‘Trailer Park Boys’ actress Lucy DeCoutere.

Ghomeshi was released on $100,000 bail in November and has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
