A man is currently in hospital following a collision involving a dump truck and motorized scooter in Richmond Hill this morning.
According to police, the accident occurred on Bathurst Street just south of Rutherford Road at around 11:15 a.m.
The victim was initially trapped beneath the dump truck but was extricated and taken to hospital.
Initial reports indicated that the man was in critical condition, however updated information from York Regional Police said the man's injuries are not life threatening.
The area reopened a short time ago.
