A male has been transported to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke Monday evening.
It happened on Islington Avenue, just north of Bloor Street, shortly before 6:30 p.m.
The circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately clear.
The pedestrian sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, paramedics said. Information on his age was not immediately provided.
The northbound lanes of Islington Avenue are currently closed north of Bloor Street as police continue to investigate.
