Paramedics say a male who was stabbed in the chest near Dixon Road and Highway 27 Monday night has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
The stabbing occurred at 925 Dixon Road shortly after 8 p.m., Toronto Paramedic Services confirms.
The victim was rushed to a trauma centre and paramedics say they believe his injuries are non life-threatening.
A staff sergeant from 23 Division said one person has been arrested in connection with the incident. The victim is expected to survive.
