Homicide detectives are appealing for help as they investigate the shooting death of a 20-year-old man.
Police are trying to identify a suspect in Thursday night’s shooting, which occurred near the Grace Hartman Housing Co-op at Morningside and Old Finch avenues in Scarborough.
After receiving a report of gunshots, police found the victim, who was without vital signs after suffering gunshot wounds.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are looking for a black male who is five-foot-eight or five-foot-nine with a medium build. He was wearing dark clothing.

The fatal shooting is Toronto’s 19th homicide of 2013, and it was the second homicide to occur in what was a violent Thursday night.
About 45 minutes after the shooting, police responded to an apartment near Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue, where a man was fatally stabbed.
