Toronto police say a 73-year-old man died of injuries sustained after two vehicles collided on the Don Valley Parkway Tuesday afternoon.
Paramedics said they were called to the southbound lanes of the Don Valley Parkway south of Lawrence Avenue East at 2:41 p.m. for a report of a collision.
Police said said the man, who was driving the car involved in the collision, was taken to local hospital without vital signs but was later pronounced dead.
Toronto police say the collision forced the southbound lanes of the highway to be closed for a period of time.
