Toronto police say a 78-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a series of sexual assaults on the TTC.

According to police, an investigation was launched in September after it was reported that a man had been sexually assaulting women on TTC vehicles.

Police say the suspect boarded transit vehicles across the city, specifically targeting female passengers.

Investigators allege the suspect would make physical contact with the women and sexually assault them.

The suspect in the case has been identified by police as Cheuk-Hang Lo, of Toronto.

He faces three charged of sexual assault and is scheduled to appear in court on January 26.
