A man and a teenage girl are facing a combined 11 charges after they allegedly forced a 16-year-old victim into the sex trade and made her hand over all of her earnings.

Police say the victim was initially recruited by a 16-year-old girl on Feb. 1 and taken from Hamilton to a hotel in Niagara Falls.

At that point, police say the 16-year-old suspect took photos of the victim and posted them on an escort website that advertised sexual services.

Police allege that girl then forced the victim to have sex with multiple clients and hand over all the money.

It is further alleged that on Feb. 19 the girl took the victim from Niagara Falls to Toronto and introduced the girl to a man.

Police say the man and the female suspect subsequently controlled the victim with drugs and alcohol, taking her to a Toronto hotel where she was again forced to have sex with multiple clients and hand over all the money.

At some point, police say the man also assaulted and sexually assaulted the victim.

Courtney Rocker, 39, and the 16-year-old girl, both of Toronto, were arrested on Feb. 23 and charged with 11 offences, including trafficking of a person under the age of 18 years, financial/material benefit resulting from trafficking a person under 18 and advertising another person’s sexual services.

Police say they believe there may be other victims out there who have not yet come forward.
