A 24-year-old man has been arrested following an armed home invasion in the east end last week.

On Thursday, police responded to a robbery call in the Greenwood and Walpole avenues area.

According to police, a 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were at home when three men – one armed with a handgun – entered the home.

The victims were threatened with death and bodily harm by the men, who ransacked the home and demanded cash.

The male victim was taken to a nearby bank and forced to withdraw money, police said.

The suspects made off with cash and property from the home.

On Thursday, police arrested a suspect in connection with the investigation. A loaded semi-automatic pistol was seized at the time of the arrest, police said.

Tristan Pascal-Roach, of no fixed address, faces 13 charges, including robbery, forcible confinement and extortion.

He appeared in court Thursday afternoon.
