A man was placed under arrest at Yorkdale Sunday afternoon after he allegedly told staff at a movie theatre he was going home to get a gun.
The man reportedly became outraged over the price of food at the movie theatre concession stand and threatened the two people serving him, police said.
A manager promptly called 911.
An officer at 32 Division told CP24 the suspect was not armed with a weapon when police took him into custody.
A 51-year-old suspect, Toronto resident Andre Blais, has been charged with two counts of threatening death and two counts of criminal harassment.
He is scheduled to appear in court Monday morning.
